It’s been pretty uneventful really! (I’m happy to report!!) I’ve had a few appointments to sort things out after my superdeedooper long admission!
- I’m now on warfarin and go to anticoagulation clinic every week
- I saw SLT and have to have another nasoendoscopy just to check the VCD is under control
- (Had my nasoendoscopy and all was good!)
- Still signed off work until I see my asthma team at the end of the month
I’m finally getting myself back to normal activities, catching up with friends and life! It feels great. Only had a couple of minor hiccups which have happened over the past few weeks.
First I was at an appointment and was parked on the third floor. When I paid my ticket and went to go back to my car the lift had an out of order sign…asthmatics nightmare! I had to climb the stairs to the third floor and it wasn’t easy! Had to take my inhaler a few times before I was ok to drive again but it sorted out pretty quick!
Only other problems have been a few colds that get me worried. I hate getting colds. And I get them a lot. It doesn’t seem like a big thing but the last few admissions I’ve had have all been caused by colds or colds that have moved on to a chest infection. Winter certainly hasn’t been easy but it’s good to be home and feeling quite healthy on the whole!
I got home a month ago today 🙂 and I hopefully go back to work in 3 weeks. Can’t wait to get some normality back in my life! Life has been on a bit of a roller coaster lately, it’s about time I hopped off and just walked for a while!
